Insulation Placement Technicians 

AppleBlossom Energy, Inc. is seeking technicians to perform air sealing and insulation placement in homes throughout North Carolina.  We offer a North Carolina Department of Labor approved Apprenticeship program.
We are also seeking highly motivated individuals with supervisory experience we can rapidly train and promote to crew leader.

Responsibilities include:

Loading trucks with materials as applicable
Preparation of the jobsite, including lead safe homes
Performing air sealing and insulation placement work as directed in attics, basements and interior and exterior walls of homes.
Cleaning the job site after work is completed and loading tools and materials back into truck.
Taking proper care of all equipment, tools and inventory.

Qualifications:

Candidates must demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Residential construction experience
A High School Diploma
Ability and desire to learn quickly, take initiative, take direction well, and be team oriented and responsible
Comfort with working with ladders and in tight spaces, and in adverse weather conditions
Proficiency in working with hand and power tools and equipment
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Requirements:

Responsible for accurate and thorough documentation of all service calls, inventory, time worked and materials used on calls.
Ability to operate service vehicles (light to heavy trucks)
Regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, frequently move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to frequently stand, walk or kneel in small spaces for extended periods of time
Regular exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat
