AppleBlossom is your “go-to” source for quality building insulation since 2006. Our experienced and trained crews install insulation in both existing homes and new construction. AppleBlossom’s installation crews are trained using Building Performance Institute (BPI) air-sealing protocols. Blocking air-infiltration between conditioned and unconditioned spaces is crucial before insulation is installed. 

AppleBlossom specializes in cellulose insulation. Our expert installers can correctly apply stabilized cellulose in attics and apply dense-pack cellulose in wall cavities and on sloped surfaces. Our fleet of dedicated vehicles are specially equipped to blow quality cellulose insulation into most any structure. We can also accommodate projects requiring blown fiberglass insulation.

We install insulation in most areas of North Carolina, northern areas of South Carolina and southern areas of Virginia and West Virginia.

  • Apple Blossom's Eco-Friendly Cellulose - Cellulose is the greenest insulation available today.  It contains up to 65 times less embodied energy than foam.
  • Cellulose Insulation - Cellulose insulation is plant fiber used in wall and roof cavities to separate the inside and outside of the building thermally and acoustically.
  • Dynamic Cellulose - This material was developed during a joint project with DOE’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). It is a 20% blend of microencapsulated Phase Change Material (PCM) and cellulose insulation. As shown below, it doesn’t require any additional equipment to install.
  • Reflective Barriers - Spray on radiant barriers lower the temperature in the attics in summer, and help to retain heat inside in the winter months. Call us for further explanation, and to find out why our spray o is superior to foil products.
  • Fiberglass Insulation - A more traditional insulation choice, fiberglass insulation is a cost-effective, energy-saving product that is made from sand and recycled glass.
